As a member of the red hand quintet and the dominant figure in his own quartet and trio, he made significant contributions to the Beijing jazz music. Nathaniel Gao是多個優秀樂隊的重要成員，曾參與中外7個爵士音樂節。他于2006年獲得美國北艾奧瓦大學音樂表演學士學位，于2011年獲得紐約城市學院爵士演奏碩士學位。 Nathaniel Gao is an important member of several excellent bands and has participated in seven jazz festivals at home and abroad. He earned a bachelor's degree in performance from the university of northern Iowa at music in 2006 and a master's degree in jazz performance from the city college of New York in 2011.
