自從他們的首張單曲 "Cherry Red" 在2020年被BBC Introducing評選為一周的推薦曲目以來，Axis Neptune迅速嶄露頭角。樂隊由制作人Josh Cotterill發起，成員包括鍵盤手David Yang、吉他手Binoy和鼓手Patrick Waldron。

Since their debut single "Cherry Red" was chosen as BBC Introducing's track of the week in 2020, Axis Neptune quickly made their mark. Led by producer Josh Cotterill, the band's lineup includes David Yang on keyboards, Binoy on guitar, and Patrick Waldron on drums.

Axis Neptune's live performances have captivated audiences at renowned venues such as DDC in Beijing, Blue Note, and Sofar Sounds. They've also performed live for BBC Introducing, Nugchella, and CGTN. Their music even made its way into the world of fashion as they composed the soundtrack for GQ's 2022 Men of the Year awards. In 2023 Axis Neptune embarked on a tour of China's Yunnan province.
