上海最重金屬的恐怖主題活動再次死而復生！沒錯，ShangHorrorFest 第五屆又回來了！Shanghai’s most metal horror themed event has been resurrected from the dead…again! That’s right, ShangHorrorFest has risen once more!

今年的活動將展示來自中國本土音樂人、藝術家和電影制作人的病態音樂、怪誕視覺藝術和獨立恐怖短片。
This year it’s showcasing morbid music, freaky visual art, and independent horror short films, all from China-based musicians, artists, and filmmakers.

DJ BO，自封的上海排名第二的DJ。在美國佛羅里達大學讀哲學時，他便對萌生了許多關于音樂的想法，他希望舞池中播放更多風格、更自由的音樂，讓人們能陶醉地舞動他的行事風格非常隨性和天馬行空，他不愿意錯過任何一個有意義的機會，從在蒙古參加和平護衛隊，到至成為朝鮮DJ第一人，他的足跡遍布全球29個國家，也在世界各處的舞臺留下了自己的音樂痕跡讓我們在與他的對話中，走近他的傳奇人生，擁抱黑膠音樂魅力。DJ BO, “Shanghai's #2 DJ,” plays Earthly-Eclectica, Ex-Post Esquerita, and Rockabilly-Funk with aplomb – all smashed up with a block party sensibility. A relentless peripatetic, DJ BO is a real road warrior, playing 29 countries and 44 cities in China and counting. Whether a cantina in Caribbean nation of Grenada or the State Symphony Orchestra Hall of Mongolia, or yes, even his infamous North Korean gig, DJ BO incorporates snatches of sounds from wherever he goes. DJ BO routinely spins vinyl records and does related workshops, and recently did so at the Nanjing Punk Festival, for a series of talks at Raccoon Records (Shanghai), and for shows in Bangkok with some of South East Asia's premier bands.

Scare The Children emerged from the shadows in 2014, born from a deep obsession with horror tales and the macabre. Their sinister blend of death metal, punk, and haunting classical elements like eerie piano interludes transports listeners into a nightmarish realm where every note drips with dread. Their sound isn't just music—it's a chilling experience designed to unsettle and intrigue, pushing the boundaries of fear through sonic storytelling. Every song is a journey through dark, twisted worlds, where the line between reality and nightmare blurs.

EmbersArise

EmbersArise余燼重燃是一支來自上海的旋律死亡金屬樂隊，2016年由吉他手徐浩然，貝斯手邱一天組建，于2018年正式確定成員，隊名，以及樂隊走向。EmbersArise從奇幻作品和神話史詩故事中汲取靈感，在高速密集的鼓點中使用雙主音吉他演繹編排復雜、快速猛烈的Riff和情緒豐滿、風馳電掣的solo，并在主體之上輔以宏大的交響樂和人聲合唱從而編織出了屬于EmbersArise獨特風格的旋律死亡 .

Chimera Cult

Chimera Cult于 2020 年在上海的火焰中誕生，一直在肆虐世界，其對混亂的追求隨著每場演出而變得越來越強烈！
Chimera Cult不拘一格的意識流聲音，結合了各種金屬流派的元素，甚至還有一些不錯的老式原始朋克！ 每一場表演都是瘋狂的高能量自我謙遜的聲波破壞，沒有人毫發無傷！
剛剛結束北美,歐洲,和東南亞洲巡演，目前正在制作新專輯。

Forged in the flaming pits of Shanghai in 2020, Chimera Cult has been ravaging the world with its appetite for chaos growing stronger with every show!

Chimera Cult's eclectic stream-of-consciousness sound, combines elements from all types of metal, from brutal death metal, to prog rock, groove metal, and even some good old-fashioned raw punk! Every show is insane high energy self-effacing sonic devastation, leaving no one unscathed!

Having just finished their North America, Europe, and South East Asia tours, they are currently working on their new album which promises to change metal, for better or worse! (Probably the latter)

Chris, a paranoid and self-centered man, is happily avoiding all human contact, preferring to escape from reality in whatever's on TV. When a friend reaches out to him to confront him about his past promises, Chris has to decide what kind of person he is inside, or it may just eat him...alive.

Turn Again 再來一次

困在致命的循環中，一群幸存者必須面對他們內心最深處的恐懼，而一個邪惡的存在正以他們的絕望為食。Trapped in a deadly loop, a group of survivors must face their deepest fears as a sinister entity feeds on their despair.

 

 

Root Cause 根源

 

一位缺乏安全感的男人經歷了極端的牙科手術，試圖通過拔除痛苦的記憶來恢復自信，卻發現有些根源比牙齒更深。An insecure man undergoes radical dental procedures to extract painful memories, hoping to restore his confidence, only to discover that some roots run deeper than teeth.

04在2018年創建玩具品牌---Dream on Studio，力求將自己夢境中的怪獸化為現實的玩具，并且通過與不同領域的藝術家合作，在不同介質上創作同一主題的產品，并開辟新領域的衍生品。2022年成立新的子品牌Fragments of dreams（夢境碎片）。本系列為向影響自己童年的美式文化致敬，通過吸血鬼、狼人、科學怪人等角色的重新演繹，融合美式插畫、紋身、搖滾樂等元素。

In 2018, 04 created a toy brand called Dream on Studio, aiming to bring the monsters from 04’s dreams into reality as toys. By collaborating with artists from different fields, 04 created products on the same theme using various mediums and expanded into new areas of derivatives. In 2022, 04 launched a new sub-brand, Fragments of Dreams. This series pays tribute to American culture that influenced 04’s childhood by reinterpreting characters such as vampires, werewolves, and Frankenstein, blending elements of American illustration, tattoos, and rock music.

 

 

A教授 Professor A

來自廣東省的ProfessorA熱衷于玩具雕刻設計和涂裝、插畫、動畫等藝術創作, 于2020年創立個人品牌Crazy Kaiju, 出品了一系列古怪有趣富有故事性的玩具, 并且積極與各種藝術家和玩具主理人合作, 喜歡這種互相碰撞出新靈感的創作方式

Professor A from Guangdong Province is passionate about toy carving design and painting, illustration, animation and other artistic creations. In 2020, he founded his personal brand Crazy Kaiju, and produced a series of quirky, interesting and storytelling toys. Professor A actively cooperates with various artists and toy managers, and loves the way we create new inspirations.

 

XY

畢業于英國考文垂大學碩士學位，現居上海。涉及領域拓展至裝置藝術、插畫、空間營造、雕塑、數字交互、公共藝術等。具有充滿奇思妙想的新生主義，濃塑重彩，畫風怪誕叛逆?，F為自由藝術家，2017年創立街頭獨立品牌624。

代表作《HOW TODREAM》，在英國汽車博物館展出，被《YOHO! GIRL》、《Sise》、《Vogueme》等多個潮流雜志報道。

XY graduated with a master's degree in animation from Coventry University, UK, and currently lives in Shanghai. Her fields have since expanded to installation art, illustration, space construction, sculpture, digital interaction, public art, and more. Her art contains elements of neo natalism, full of whim, thickness and abrasive colors, with a style of painting that is both grotesque and rebellious. Now a freelance artist, she founded 624, an independent street brand in 2017. The representative work "HOW TODREAM" has been exhibited at the British Automobile Museum and has been featured in "YOHO! GIRL", "Sise", "Vogueme" and other fashion magazines.。

 

雞母割鈴 Jet Chen

雞母割鈴（JetChen），一位視覺設計師，從事品牌&產品設計。名字是因為小時候學英語時用中文音標注而來的。

2019年創建品牌“人造蛋”，意在通過經典怪物符號，紀念那個混雜著恐懼，幻想，卻又透著希冀的碎片時代。
JetChen, a visual designer, has been engaged in brand & product design. The name comes from the Chinese phonetic notation when I was learning English when I was a child. In 2019, the brand “人造蛋” (ren zao dan -

Artificial Egg) was created to commemorate the fragmented era mixed with fear, fantasy, and hope through the classic monster symbol.

 

＂IAN，ZZZ-X MONSTER 品牌主理人 ＂

ZZZ-X怪獸 由中國設計師 IAN 于 2021 年創立，以 HORROR KAWAII 為概念，創作sofubi 怪獸玩具以及衍生品。Sofubi是一個來源于英語的日語簡化詞 ，日本稱為”ソフビ” 或“Sofubi”, 美國稱

為”Soft Vinyl”，通過油爐工藝，使用PVC塑膠材料手工制作. ZZZ-X怪獣 Sofubi ，原型全部為原創，由IAN獨立設計完成，在原型基礎上更新涂裝，通貨每一期不會超過100個，限定版1-10個左右。

ZZZ-X Monster, founded by Chinese designer Ian in 2021, who creates sofubi monster toys and derivatives with the concept of Horror Kawaii. Sofubi is a Japanese simplified word derived from English. In Japanese, it is called “ソフビ” or “Sofubi”. In the United States, it is called “Soft Vinyl”. It is handmade using PVC plastic material through an oil furnace process. ZZZ-X Monster Sofubi. All prototypes are original and independently designed by IAN. The painting is updated on the basis of the prototype. For each issue of regular products, there will be no more than 100 pieces. For limited editions, there are about 1 to 10 pieces.

 

CXEEO

來自廣州，新妖都NeoYauto的COO/藝術家、像素藝術家、Web3加密藝術家、暗黑風格紋身師、獨立游戲開發工作者。目前正在打造一個城市化IP——新妖都NeoYauto，主要是以粵文化和街頭文化為核心，通過像素藝術打造的一個東方賽博朋克虛擬城市，以此正在開發品牌的獨立游戲，并通過Web3加密藝術在海外擁有兩萬人的社區。

From Guangzhou, COO/artist of NeoYauto, a new cyberpunk city, pixel artist, Web3 crypto artist, dark-style tattoo artist, and independent game developer. CXEEO is currently creating an urban IP called NeoYauto, which centers around Cantonese culture and street culture, building an Eastern cyberpunk virtual city through pixel art. The brand is developing an independent game and has built a community of 20,000 people overseas through Web3 crypto art.
