何為《We Are Shanghai》？
《We Are Shanghai》是每年為上海音樂人與藝術家舉辦的公開征集活動，旨在向世界展現這座城市年度音樂創作的生動縮影。今年的專輯陣容空前強大，收錄了多達49支樂隊，幾乎涵蓋你能想到的所有音樂流派!
What is “We Are Shanghai”?
We Are Shanghai is an annual open-call compilation for Shanghai-based musicians and artists, intended to provide a snapshot to the world of the city's musical creativity in any given year. This year's album boasts a whopping 49 bands, spanning pretty much every genre you can think of!

Extreme John
Extreme John 是 3D 藝術家兼 DJ，以暗黑視覺與硬核電子著稱。作為 DarkHaze 黑霧 聯合創始人，他以黑金屬極端嗓音融合 HardTechno、工業 Techno、Rave 等曲風，打造獨特的 MetalTechno 聲音。他合作過眾多金屬樂隊與電子音樂人，并在 Abyss、SYSTEM 等場景以 DVJ 形式呈現沉浸式黑暗體驗。
Extreme John is a 3D artist and DJ known for dark visuals and hard-edged electronic music. As co-founder of DarkHaze, he blends black-metal vocals with HardTechno, Industrial, and Rave to forge his signature MetalTechno sound. He’s collaborated with leading metal bands and electronic artists, performing immersive DVJ sets at venues like Abyss and SYSTEM.

Line in 是一支成立于上海的三人樂隊，以 synthpop 為核心，通過自我挖掘，將迷幻電子與傳統樂器交融，營造私密、孤獨又慵懶的獨特氛圍。一年內已發布《Rhino》《White Dress》《IGLOO》三首單曲，未來將探索更多風格，讓音樂成為連接創作者與聽者的那條“線”，從內心出發，通向外部的彼岸。
Line in is a three-piece band from Shanghai built on a synthpop foundation, blending psychedelic electronics with traditional instruments to create an intimate, dreamy, and laid-back atmosphere. In their first year, they released three singles—“Rhino,” “White Dress,” and “IGLOO”—and are now exploring new styles, using music as the “line” connecting creator and listener, moving from inner reflection to the world beyond.

The Psyders
The Psyders 是上海沖浪車庫場景中崛起的樂隊，由 Trash A Go-Go 派對系列起家，以純正沖浪搖滾為靈感，將具畫面感的旋律、60 年代 Mods 元素與“滴濾”混響結合，并融入 Surf Coasters 與 Messer Chups 式的當代解構風格，在東西方地下文化影響下形成獨特聲音。曾在上海與 Buzzcocks、Messer Chups、Guitar Wolf、Surf Coasters 等國際樂隊同臺演出。
The Psyders emerged from Shanghai’s surf-garage scene through the iconic Trash A Go-Go parties. Drawing on classic surf rock, 60s Mods aesthetics, drip-filter reverb, and modern deconstruction inspired by bands like Surf Coasters and Messer Chups, they’ve developed a distinct sound shaped by underground cultures East and West. They have performed in Shanghai alongside Buzzcocks, Messer Chups, Guitar Wolf, and Surf Coasters.

DJ BO，自稱“上海第二 DJ”。在佛羅里達大學念哲學時便萌生音樂理想，希望舞池擁有更多元、更自由的聲音。他行事隨性、足跡遍布全球 29 國，從蒙古交響樂大廳到格林納達小酒館，甚至成為朝鮮首位 DJ，都留下了他的音樂印記。他常用黑膠演出，也在各地舉辦相關工作坊，包括南京朋克節、上海 Raccoon Records，以及曼谷的跨國演出。
DJ BO, “Shanghai’s #2 DJ,” blends eclectic global styles with a block-party spirit. A true wanderer, he has performed in 29 countries and across China—from Caribbean bars and Mongolian symphony halls to his notorious North Korea gig—mixing sounds gathered along the way. A dedicated vinyl advocate, he regularly hosts workshops and has appeared at the Nanjing Punk Festival, Raccoon Records in Shanghai, and shows in Bangkok with top Southeast Asian bands.
