一、上海歌舞團簡介

Introduction of Shanghai Dance Theatre

上海歌舞團成立于1979年6月,2009年11月轉企改制,創作演出中國民族舞劇、舞蹈、聲樂作品。

建團四十余年來,上海歌舞團積累了眾多藝術精品:大型服飾舞蹈劇《金舞銀飾》以及《閃閃的紅星》《野斑馬》《霸王別姬》《花木蘭》《天邊的紅云》《舞臺姐妹》《一起跳舞吧》《朱鹮》《永不消逝的電波》等十余部舞劇作品;中華鼓舞《龍之聲》、舞集《滿庭芳》《這些年,我們跳的舞》《在路上》《天地人》以及《心中的歌》《乘著歌聲的翅膀》《相約春天》等數十臺專場作品;《根之雕》《當代節奏》《夜深沉》《秀色》《大地》《聽見身體》《傣家的女兒傣家的雨》《蒲公英》《只為途中與你相見》《天浴》《漫·慢》《彼時此刻》《秋日》《看不見的墻》《背面》等百余個舞蹈節目。

劇團人才濟濟,榮典·首席演員朱潔靜、王佳俊,首席演員侯騰飛、王景、畢然、于婷婷、周曉輝等一批在國內外舞蹈業界具有重要影響的青年舞蹈家,領銜眾多獨舞、領舞、群舞演員,構成了梯隊式的舞蹈人才隊伍;許青、席燕娟等青年歌唱家在國內外聲樂專業賽事中摘金奪銀,成績令人矚目,在業界聲名鵲起。

出訪美國、加拿大、墨西哥、阿根廷、英國、法國、德國、俄羅斯、意大利、丹麥、波蘭、捷克、奧地利、愛爾蘭、澳大利亞、新西蘭、日本、韓國、新加坡、土耳其、泰國、馬來西亞、哈薩克斯坦、越南、摩洛哥、匈牙利、古巴、秘魯等國家及港澳臺地區演出,舞劇《金舞銀飾》《野斑馬》《霸王別姬》《朱鹮》等作品享譽世界舞臺。

 

Founded in Jun. 1979, Shanghai Dance Theatre (SDT) completed the enterprise restructuring of sate-owned art troupes in Nov. 2009. SDT is committed to creating Chinese national dance dramas, contemporary dances, vocal music productions, instrument music productions, etc.

Since its foundation, SDT has accumulated a large number of high-quality artistic productions such as the grand costumes dance drama Golden Dances & Silver Costumes, dance dramas Shinning Red Star, Wild Zebra, Farewell to My Concubine, Hua-Mulan, The Red Clouds over the Horizon, Stage Sisters, Turn in to Dancing, Crested Ibises, The Eternal Wave, etc. SDT has created a number of special gala shows including Dragon Sound, Fragrance, The Dances We Danced, On the Road, Sky, Earth and People, The Songs in the Heart, On the Wings of Song, Date in Spring, etc. SDT has also created over 100 dance pieces such as Root Carving, Contemporary Rhythm, Deep Night, Beauty, Earth, Listen to the Body, The Girls and the Rain of the Dai Nationality, Dandelion, Only for Meeting with You on the Way, Heaven Bath, Wandering, Moment, Autumn, Invisible Walls etc.

SDT has received many awards and honors including China Five Projects Award of Spiritual Civilization Construction by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Splendor Award of Government Award for Chinese Culture and Art by China Ministry of Culture, China National Stage Art Fine Works Project Award, gold prize of Lotus Award of China National Dance Competition, gold prize of Chinese National Minority Dance Competition, the 30th Shanghai Magnolia Stage Performance Award, first prize of Professional Dance Competition of East China, award of Shanghai Fine Art Creation, gold awards of international vocal competitions in Singapore, Japan, Korea, and so forth.

SDT has a pool of talents such as the chief dancers with honor and glory Zhu Jiejing, Wang Jiajun, chief dancers Hou Tengfei, Wang Jing, Bi Ran, Yu Tingting, Zhou Xiaohui who are all famous young dancers and own global appeal. Besides, there are a large number of excellent soloist dancers, leading dancers and group dancers constituting the high-quality dance talents in echelon. Xu Qing, Xi Yanjuan and other young singers have won lots of gold and silver awards in the professional vocal music competitions at home and abroad, whose achievements have attracted great attention and gained a great reputation in the industry.

SDT had performance tours in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, U.K, France, Germany, Russian, Italy, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Morocco, Hungary, Cuba, Peru, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, etc. Dance dramas such as Golden Dances & Silver Costumes, Wild Zebra, Farewell to My Concubine, Crested Ibises are all famous and have got great reputation on a global scale.

 

二、作品介紹 Introduction of Crested Ibises

 

朱鹮,國際珍稀保護鳥,象征幸福吉祥的美麗珍禽,被稱為“吉祥之鳥”,純美、典雅、潔凈、高貴。從久遠的農耕時代開始,朱鹮與人類和諧共處、相伴相生;步入近代以來,隨著人類在向現代化與城市化的快速奔跑中,不經意間忽略了朱鹮生存環境的惡化,野生朱鹮繁衍所必須的藍天凈水和寧靜自然的棲息生態愈加險惡,朱鹮種群瀕臨絕跡;到了現代,中國陜西洋縣最后7只野生朱鹮的發現,“吉祥之鳥”再次回歸人類視線,在中國和日本科學家的共同努力下,在人們越來越自覺的精心保護和悉心呵護下,朱鹮出現了物種復蘇的吉祥征兆。

舞劇《朱鹮》由中國人民對外友好協會、上海市委宣傳部、上海文化廣播影視集團有限公司聯合出品。舞劇以國際珍稀保護鳥朱鹮為題材,在呈現朱鹮純美、典雅、潔凈、高貴的背后,彰顯啟示人與自然界其他生靈平等和共處的理念,啟發對人類與其他生靈和自然環境休戚與共關系的思考——

但愿,守望的不只是人類自己的家園,而是共同的美好家園。

《朱鹮》是一部純美的舞劇,關注環境保護、關注人與自然的和諧相處,“為了曾經的失去,呼喚永久的珍惜”,追求真善美的永恒價值,正視人類在發展過程中曾經遭遇的問題,呼喚綠色的可持續發展理念,帶給觀眾以情感共鳴和思想啟迪。

舞劇《朱鹮》

Crested ibises, an international preserved rare bird species, known as the “birds of good fortune”, are gorgeous and precious creature symbolizing happiness and blessings. They used to be so innocent, gentle and graceful and lived with human beings in the agrarian times as human’s loyal and adorable companions. However, when accelerating the pace of modernization and urbanization in modern time, human beings neglect the deterioration of the living environment of crested ibises. The natural habitat upon which the wild crested ibises are so dependent for their breeding, such as blue sky, clean water and tranquility, has become so hostile that they are forced to die out gradually. Recently, the discovery of the last seven wild crested ibises in Yang County, Shaanxi Province, made the endangered creature come into people’s sight again. Today, with joint efforts from Chinese and Japanese scientists, crested ibises have received increasingly conscious protection and care from human society. Therefore, the “bird of good fortune” now embraces the auspicious revitalization.

The dance drama Crested Ibises, produced jointly by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), The Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Committee and Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group. The performance, themed as the preserved bird crested ibises, aims to aware people of the significance of keeping a harmonious relationship with other creatures. Through the presentation of crested ibises’ beauty, purity and grace, it reminds people to reflect on the interdependence between human beings and nature.

We sincerely hope that human beings will not only take the responsibility for their own homes, but also be the watcher for the homeland for all creatures on the earth.

Crested Ibises will provide people with the special feelings of purity and beauty, focusing on issues of environmental protection, and the relationship between human beings and nature. It appeals to the public to cherish this friend of nature forever, for the sake of that near eternal loss. Besides, it encourages the pursuit of the unyielding values of “the true, the good and the beautiful”; it warns people of the problems encountered in the development process; it advocates the ecologically friendly and sustainable development concept. Overall, the emotional resonance and ideological inspiration is what Crest Ibis is expected to bring to its audiences.

 

三、劇情簡介 Plot Summary

 

朱鹮,象征幸福吉祥的美麗珍禽,被稱為“吉祥之鳥”。

舞劇《朱鹮》

在很久以前的農耕時代,朱鹮與人類和諧共處,相伴相生。

在人類的記憶深處,朱鹮是一種多情的鳥類,它們矜持、典雅、潔凈、高貴,同時也敏感、脆弱和多疑。

那時節,朱鹮與人類是多么親近友善,多么情深意長。

不知自何時起,“吉祥之鳥”漸漸淡出了人類視線。

人類在向現代化與城市化的快速奔跑中,不經意間忽略了朱鹮生存環境的惡化。野生朱鹮繁衍所必須的藍天凈水和寧靜自然的棲息生態,已經變得越來越狹小,越來越險惡了。

20世紀中葉,野生朱鹮種群便已宣告瀕臨絕跡。

1981年5月,中國科學家在陜西洋縣意外發現了七只野生朱鹮,一度被宣告瀕臨絕種的“吉祥之鳥”又重新走進了人類視線。

今天,在中國、日本、韓國以及東西伯利亞,在人類越來越自覺的精心保護和悉心愛護下,朱鹮又出現了物種復蘇的吉祥征兆。

“生命中不能承受之輕”,為了曾經的失去,呼喚永久的珍惜。

  • Crested ibis, known as the “bird of good fortune”, is a beautiful and precious rare creature symbolizing happiness and blessings.

Centuries ago, in the agrarian times, human beings live in harmony with the crested ibis, a good friend and adorable companion.

Deep in our memory, crested ibis is a passionate bird, who would appear reserved, elegant, sacred and noble, yet also sensitive, vulnerable and occasionally distant.

At one time, the crested ibis is such a close and warm friend to us.

  • No one knows when these "birds of good fortune" gradually fade away from our sight.

Human beings, who are busy racing on the track of modernization and urbanization, neglect the deterioration of the living environment of crested ibis. The natural habitat upon which the wild crested ibises are so dependent for their breeding, such as blue sky, clean water and tranquility, has become ever narrower and hostile.

In the middle of the 20th Century, it is declared that crested ibis has been enlisted as an endangered species of wild nature.

  • In May 1981, Chinese scientists accidentally discovered seven wild crested ibis in Yang county, Shanxi province. Therefore, the "birds of good fortune" which have been declared endangered repeatedly fade in people's sight again.

Today, in China, Japan, Korea and eastern Siberia, with our increasingly conscious and careful protection, the size of population of crested ibis has been growing as an auspicious sign.

For "the unbearable lightness of being", and for what was lost in the past, let’s appeal to cherish the future forever.

Director/Choreographer: Tong Ruirui

First-level choreographer-director of China National Opera and Dance Drama Theatre; distinguished choreographer-director of Shanghai Dance Theatre, selected as the “China's cultural celebrities and four batches of talents" by Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC; Beijing Dance Academy Choreography Department graduate. Her works inherit the aesthetic characteristics of Chinese traditional dance, exploring the cultural metaphor of body language. Through her representative dance productions, such as dance pieces, e.g. Fan Dance in Danqing, Root Carving, Green Wind, Blue Rainy Orchid, Beauty, Deep Night, Spring-River Flower-Moon Night, Songs for Luofu, Rouged Lips, dance drama e.g. Nanjing 1937, The Earth, Goddess and the Dreamer, Let’s Dance Together, Crested Ibises, and stage productions like the Painting of Four Beauties, she has formed a typical expressive style and the extreme pursuit for aesthetic values.

Awards and honors: several gold prizes covering a diversity of national dance and dance drama choreographic competitions, for instance, Five Projects Award for Excellent Work, Wenhua Award for Excellent Work, Wenhua Award for Director, Lotus Award for Dance Drama, Lotus Award Gold Prize for Dance Epic, works selected into the national stage art quality repertoire.

當今在中國舞臺極為活躍的青年作曲家,創作的作品涉及交響樂、影視、舞臺等廣泛領域。曾獲第九屆中國舞蹈“荷花獎”最佳音樂創作獎。為紀念汶川地震一周年、國家公祭日、紀念抗戰勝利70周年大閱兵、2008北京奧運會等國家大型活動創作過數首儀式音樂作品。

Composer: Guo Sida

Extremely active young Chinese composer on today's stage. Guo’s works cover a wide range including films and television, symphony, songs, stage creations. He was awarded as the best music composer of 9th Lotus National Dance Competition in 2013. His representative works include those in memory of the 1st anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake, the National Memorial Day, the parade at the Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and The World Anti-Fascist War, the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and other national events.

畢業于北京舞蹈學院中國舞編導專業,目前從事舞蹈理論課、基訓課、劇目課、編導課的教學和舞蹈研究工作。1996年獲 “桃李杯”民間舞比賽廣東賽區甲組金獎;1999年《青春》《云風吟》獲東方起點杯創作比賽創作二等獎及優秀表演;2001年《落花》獲華北五省一市暨北京第七屆舞蹈比賽創作二等獎;2006年《石灣瓷趣》獲“桃李杯”全國舞蹈比賽少年組創作優秀獎;2007年舞劇《南京1937》獲文化部“五個一工程”文華獎;2010年《南海我的家》獲南海舞蹈花會銀獎;2011年舞劇《水月洛神》獲荷花杯舞劇作品金獎、編導金獎。

Choreographer: He Tao

Beijing Dancing Academy graduate, major in Chinese dance choreography. Currently engaged in teaching and research work of dance courses involving theoretic study, basics, repertory, and choreography course.

Awards and honors include: gold award in group A of Taoli Cup National Dance Competition Guangdong Division in 1996; Youth, and Songs of Cloud and Wind awarded second prize of Starting from East National Choreography Competition in 1999; Falling Flowers awarded the second prize of the 7th Five Provinces and One City of North China & Beijing Dance Competition in 2001; Porcelain from Shiwan awarded excellence award of youth group for creativity in Taoli Cup National Dance Competition in 2006; Nanjing 1937 awarded silver prize of “Five Projects” Wenhua Award by China Ministry of Culture in 2007; the South China Sea is My Home awarded silver prize by South China Sea Dance Flower Exhibition in 2010; the dance drama Goddess Luo awarded gold prizes of Lotus Award respectively in artwork and director in 2011.

國家一級設計師,中國舞臺美術學會理事,《軍旅舞臺美術研究中心》研究員。代表作品《西出陽關》《野班馬》《瓷魂》《霸王別姬》《紅河谷》《白蓮》《情祭》《紅旗飄飄》《國旗下的士兵》《我的夢》《天鵝湖》等。三次在中國美術館舉辦個人美術作品展,出版《張繼文詩畫集》《張繼文繪畫作品集》《張繼文舞臺美術設計圖集》《張繼文紙上繪畫》等文集。獲得獎項有中國舞臺美術學會專業設計獎“學會獎”,中國舞美設計金獎,三度獲文化部“文華”舞美設計單項獎,中國戲劇節優秀舞美獎,中國舞劇匯演優秀舞美設計獎,中國舞蹈家協會“荷花杯”最佳舞美設計金獎。

中央芭蕾舞團化裝造型師。畢業于中央戲劇學院化妝造型設計專業。自幼學習繪畫,具有十年的繪畫能力訓練,對東西方美術進行了深入了解,包括中國畫、中國古代工藝美術、西方古典繪畫、西方現代派藝術等。為國內外幾十部中外劇目擔任化裝造形設計,依靠著扎實的造型功底,把其女性的敏感與南方的細膩情感融合,在造型語匯上力求創新,她精致的設計風格在舞蹈中得到完美的展示,受到各方的好評。2012年獲文化部“國家藝術院團優秀劇目展演”舞臺美術(化妝造型設計)獎項。

Makeup and Stylist: Xu Bin

Stylist in the National Ballet of China; graduated from Central Academy of Drama, major in makeup and style design; learning painting since an earlier age, now owning ten-year studying and training experience in painting; holding in-depth understanding on Eastern and Western art, including Chinese ink painting, Chinese ancient craft art, western classic art, western modern art; working as a makeup designer for dozens of musical and dramas from home and abroad.

Based on solid styling skills, combining the feminine emotional sensitivity and the delicate style of South China, the innovated and delicate style perfectly displayed in dance receive compliments by various media and critics. Honors include the excellence award in make-up and style design of National Art Institutions Outstanding Repertoire Performance by China Ministry of Culture in 2012.

It is not unfamiliar that a dance drama depicts birds as the main performance object, for instance, classic ballet Swan Lake, folk dance Spirit of Peacock, etc. However, Crested Ibises creatively combines certain extracted movements, such as “wading” resting” and “flying”, from China folk dance unique gestures, with western ballet characteristics. So beautiful, I was so touched for the whole night. It is hard to believe that a human‘s gestures can show such rich plots. I think Crested Ibises can beat the “swans” in European ballet.

Crested Ibises exceeds the boundary of species, which makes it stand out. Unlike the swans in Swan Lake, which personifies the birds, also unlike the peacock, which integrates the bird and human, Crested Ibises regards human and birds as equal lives. The performance arises people’s attention on environmental and social issues through its unique artistic temperament. “Love” warms people eternally in the world. “Truth” is the sweet flow from the bottom of heart. “Beauty” is the hope for everything. Crested Ibises uses life to feel the love, the wings to call for civilization. Such joint power let us fly from the resource of civilization to be the representative of love and beauty.

The crested ibis fairy, as well as the group of crested ibises; the solo dance, the pas de deux as well as the group dance are not limited in the range of Chinese traditional classic dance or folk dance. Instead, it draws the inspiration from “Chinese style” dance to showcase the unique Chinese aesthetic taste.
